The Resource Intelligent Europe network (RIE), the first working group of GLOBE EU and the Bee, was born at the dinner conversation with the UN International Panel for Sustainable Resource Management hosted by GLOBE EU at the European Parliament, on 31st May 2010.
The RIE Declaration was launched at the European Parliament lunch debate 'The Year Ahead of Davos' - click here for a list of participants at the launch, and on the image to access the text.
![]() | Issues In the run-up to the Davos World Resources Forum in September 2011, the RIE will contribute to the discussions on the resource efficiency agenda, from resource security and fair distribution to carbon accounting and the functioning of the ETS. 28th September - Sandwich Lunch The Need for an Improved Role of the Private Sector in the EU Research & Innovation Strategy.
