Sustainable energy week

The week of 9-13 February marks the third edition of the EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW), a joint initiative of Sustainable Energy Europe Campaign (SEE), the European Commission's Directorate-General for Energy and Transport, the European Institutions and major stakeholders concerned with sustainable energy.

300 European cities, including major EU capitals such as Madrid, Lisbon and Budapest, will pledge to go beyond the EU target of a 20% reduction in CO2 emissions at a ceremony in Brussels on 10 February. The largest events will be taking place in 52 European cities.
